De aanleiding hiervoor vormde een bijzondere vondst vorig schooljaar door de conci\u00ebrge. In de kelder van ons gebouw aan de Jonkerweg bleek namelijk een archief te staan: een houten kist met daarin zes multomappen. Dit archief was door een oud-leerling speciaal samengesteld voor het lustrum van de school in 1993. Zijn naam was Gui Fortgens. Gui zat tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog als leerling op onze school. In de aanloop naar dit lustrum vroeg hij zijn oude klasgenoten om hun herinneringen over hun lestijd tijdens de Tweede Wereldoorlog met hem te delen. Hij verzamelde deze informatie in multomappen. Daarna liet hij er een speciale houten kist voor timmeren. En hij overhandigde het archief aan de rector tijdens het lustrum van 1993. Helaas belandde het archief in de jaren daarna in de kelder van onze school.
